Bi-Directional IDE To SATA Converter

Connecting a SATA device to an IDE board:

• Connect IDE cable to converter and motherboard
• Connect the power cable to the converter
• Connect the SATA cable to the SATA plug on the converter board that is labelled IDE => SATA HDD
• Connect SATA cable from the converter to the SATA device
• Connect the power cable to the SATA device (Not supplied)

Connecting an IDE device to a SATA board:

• Connect IDE cable to the converter and IDE device
• Connect the power cable to the converter
• Connect the SATA cable to the SATA plug on the converter board that is labelled SATA => IDE HDD
• Connect the power cable to the IDE device (Not supplied)

IDE Device not appearing on the computer:

If you find the IDE device you have connected is not showing it, check if there are any jumper pins connected on the device, if there is, remove them, reboot and it should appear.
