The KY-021 Mini Magnetic Reed Module is a simple module that is a magnetic sensor which is normally open and closes when exposed to a magnetic field.

The KY-021 Mini Magnetic Reed Module has a 10k Ohm resistor and a reed switch that is activated by a magnetic field, with the digital output pin going to HIGH (+5V). The module has an onboard LED which is activated when the module is in the closed state.
